Thomas Stout an old and honored citizen of the county, died early this morning at the home of his son, Charles Stout on Pike Street. His death was due to a stroke of paralysis which he sustained several weeks ago. The deceased was 72 years of age and was born in Butler Co OH but came her ein early life. He belonged to the Methodist Church and was universally respected and esteemed. He leaves a wife and 9 children, namely John, George, Charles, Valentine, William, James and Frank Stout all residing in Crawfordsville and vicinity and Albert Stout of Indianapolis and Mrs. Minnie Brown residing in the southern part of the state. The funeral and burial will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wesley - kbz
